Dr. Fischer earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee before attending the renowned Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa—the birthplace of chiropractic. It was there that he gained extensive training in spinal health, diagnostic imaging, manual therapy, and holistic patient care.
His journey into chiropractic began after suffering a football-related back injury during his youth. After experiencing first-hand the effectiveness of chiropractic treatment in his recovery, Dr. Fischer became passionate about helping others find similar relief through safe, non-invasive care.
He provides chiropractic services to patients of all ages, including infants, children, seniors, athletes, and pregnant individuals. Dr. Fischer takes pride in offering personalized treatment plans that are tailored to each patient’s condition, goals, and lifestyle.
He is proficient in a range of chiropractic techniques, including:
- Diversified Technique: A widely practiced manual adjusting method used to improve joint mobility and spinal alignment.
- Gonstead Technique: A precise system of spinal analysis and adjustment, focusing on specificity and biomechanical correction.
- Instrument-Assisted Adjusting: Gentle, targeted adjustments using tools like the Activator and Impulse Gun, ideal for those who prefer low-force techniques or have sensitive areas.
- Flexion Distraction: A gentle, non-invasive chiropractic technique that provides targeted relief for spinal conditions involving disc compression or nerve irritation. Performed using a specialized treatment table that allows controlled flexion and distraction of the spine.
Dr. Fischer also incorporates additional therapeutic modalities such as:
- Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM): Commonly known as muscle scraping, this technique is used to break down scar tissue, release fascial restrictions, and promote tissue repair.
- Soft Wave Therapy: A cutting-edge regenerative treatment that uses acoustic waves to reduce inflammation, stimulate cellular repair, and accelerate healing in chronic or acute conditions.
Dr. Fischer's philosophy centers on treating the whole person—not just the condition—to support long-term healing and improved quality of life. Whether you're seeking pain relief, recovering from an injury, or focusing on preventive care, Dr. Fischer works with you to restore function, improve mobility, and enhance your everyday life.
